Registration is now open for the second series of Punk DIY that begins May 30 and runs through July 25 at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library.

The series is held at 4 p.m. every other Friday beginning May 30 in the Craft Room at Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave. Teens and adults are welcome.

The series includes:

May 30, Hand Stitched Embroidery Techniques – Patches or Beanies.
Patches were popular in our past Punk DIY series, so they are back. Learn basic hand stitching techniques for a very DIY look. Beanies and cloth for patches are provided. If you want to embroider an item of your own, bring it.

June 13, Bejeweled Book Covers.
Bring your own book to give it a glam makeover. Jewels and glue are provided.

June 27, Customize a Book Bag Iron-on Transfers and Patches.
All supplies are provided. Don’t want to do a book bag? We have hats and beanies or bring an item of your choice.

July 11, Spiked Collars or Cuffs for People and Pets.
Create a custom look for you or the protection of a pet. We will provide inch and quarter inch spikes, as well as pleater to create a collar or cuff.

July 25, Ugly Dolls.
Design, stuff and embroider your own ugly doll! All materials will be provided as well as realistic looking teeth.
