You can reach out the the Accounts Receivable department who can help with various options to assist with your utility bill.
Promise to pay – If you know funds are coming in and you need a few more days, a simple call to request an extension will work.
Preferred Payment Date – If you are on a fixed income and receive funds after the due date of your utility bill, this monthly extension will allow you to pay after the due date of your bill.
Casa De Peregrinos – CDP administers funds provided by the City for all utility customers who might find themselves in financial hardship.
LIHEAP (Low Income heating Energy Assistance Program) – This federal program coordinated by the state of New Mexico assists in heating resources.
