
Police continue to ask for help locating a 68-year-old Las Cruces man who was last known to be in downtown El Paso on Nov. 25.
Arthur J. Crothers was discharged Nov. 24, 2025, from a healthcare facility in Santa Teresa, N.M., and taken to a group home on the 2700 block of Fillmore Avenue in El Paso, Texas. The following day, Nov. 25, he left the group home in a Taxi and called family from downtown El Paso to ask for a ride back to Las Cruces.
By the time the relative arrived at the meet-up location in downtown El Paso, Crothers was not there.
Relatives contacted Las Cruces police and reported him missing on Dec. 9.
Crothers is 5-feet-7-inches tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds. He has gray, salt-and-pepper hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red shirt, gray cargo pants and using a cane to help walk.
