Annie Bosko to Headline 2026 ¡mira! Las Cruces Festival

Now featuring Friday night live music, country theme, expanded entertainment lineup

Country singer, Annie Bosko is set to headline fourth annual ¡mira! Las Cruces on April 25, 2026. Bosko is one of many performers to take the Roberto V. Estrada stage as part of the festivities to highlight the local culture, cuisine, outdoor recreation, music and more.

Annie Bosko is a western singer and songwriter from California. She embodies modern country with a bold sound that reflects her “California Cowgirl” roots as a child to a third-generation farmer while also defining spaces for women in a male-dominated genre. Her sound is plunky and honest with a variety of shuffles, ballads, anthems and midtempo songs for listeners to hop up and dance to.

“Country music is a huge piece of our culture in Las Cruces and southern New Mexico. The genre speaks to our values rooted in agriculture and community,” Executive Director Rochelle Miller-Hernandez said. “We want that represented in our lineup for this year’s ¡mira!, and we think Annie Bosko has a great way of sharing it.”

Bosko headlines this year’s country-themed event with opening acts like the 575 Band, a Las Cruces based group with a love for playing classic country and classic rock music. Following them is country artist, Dzaki Sukarno, a Las Cruces native on the rise with his traditional sound, but with a southwestern edge. Bring your boots to join in on some country dance lessons by Sol Ballroom to help prepare for their performances.

Kick off the festivities this year on Friday, April 24 on the Plaza de Las Cruces with free live music from opener Rebel Creek Radio with Cautivo Norteño ending the night. The local bands will take the stage from 6 – 9 p.m. Spectators can enjoy on-site food trucks and partake in a dance lesson from Sol Ballroom to prepare for Saturday’s country headliner.

“We are so excited to invite everyone to come out to the 2026 ¡mira! Las Cruces Fest,” Las Cruces Mayor Eric Enriquez said. “This event is much more than music and lights. It brings together our community and welcomes thousands of visitors to experience our vibrant culture, history and traditions.”

The family-friendly spring festival returns bigger and better from 2 – 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, with more thrilling Lucha Libre matches and a drone show to light up the sky. Other returning features this year include local crafts vendors, a car show and food trucks. Additionally, attendees can discover a variety of mediums in the artist alley or head into the Rio Grande Theatre for a preview of the New Mexico Juneteenth Jazz Arts Festival.

Be advised, the City of Las Cruces will be shutting down the Plaza de Las Cruces and Main Street from Griggs Avenue to Las Cruces Avenue starting Friday, April 24 at 5 a.m. Main Street from the north roundabout to Bowman Avenue, as well as Las Cruces and Griggs avenues will shut down at 5 p.m. The Las Cruces Farmer’s and Crafts Market will move to Sunday, April 26; however, many vendors will attend ¡mira! Las Cruces as part of the arts and crafts vendors.

Free parking will be available in the downtown area for the event. Attendees should expect the closure of a few parking lots to allow for the drone show setup and launch.

Folding and camping chairs are permitted during the event as seating is limited. Well-behaved pets are welcome to attend so long as they remain leashed.
