Have you ever wondered what keeps the City of Las Cruces running behind the scenes? Are you curious about the departments that shape your everyday experiences – from Communications to Transit.

The City of Las Cruces invites residents ages 18 and above to join the 2026 Neighborhood Leadership Academy, a unique, behind-the-scenes experience that will deepen your understanding of how local government serves the community. This 11-week program begins January 22, 2026.

Online Registration is open from Nov. 24, 2025, through Jan. 16, 2026
The Academy runs Thursday evenings from January 22, 2026 – April 2, 2026.
Recognition will take place for those who attend all sessions at 1 p.m. on April 6, 2026, during the City Council meeting.
