A vacant home on the 1100 block of N. Campo St. was damaged by fire early Monday, December 15, 2025.
The Las Cruces Fire Department responded to the reported structure fire at 7:30 a.m. Monday morning. Crews arrived to a residence with visible smoke and flames. Firefighters worked to contain and extinguish the fire after it moved to the attic space. The fire was brought under control around 8 a.m.
The property was vacant at the time of the fire. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
