A media day has been organized for 6 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, at the Field of Dreams where news media will have the opportunity to interview organizers and possibly fly in a balloon. Flights are set on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Mesilla Valley Balloon Rally is planned for Jan. 17-19. The rally kicks off Jan. 17 at Plaza de Las Cruces. On Saturday, Jan. 18, and Sunday, Jan. 19, the rally will be held at the Field of Dreams, 2300 Tashiro Dr. in Las Cruces.
