Mid to High‑Intensity Workouts
(Online registration & walk‑ins when space is available)
- H2O HIIT Low‑impact, high‑intensity interval training that combines full‑body strength training with bursts of cardio. For all fitness levels.
- H2O Cardio A high‑energy, full‑body water aerobics class suitable for everyone. Instructor certified by the National Arthritis Foundation.
- H2O Combo Engages upper body, core strength, and lower limbs to fight against inertia using a variety of equipment.
Exercise for Relaxation & Wellness
(In‑person reservation required — call one business day in advance)
- Channelsizing Cardio‑based water channel walking exercises that are low‑impact and fun. For all fitness levels.
- Swimnastics Aquatic aerobic exercises geared toward members with arthritis, joint pain, joint injuries or replacements, and back ailments. Uses aqua weights and/or pool noodles to strengthen all muscle groups.
- Aqua Fitness Intermediate to advanced intensity aquatic aerobic exercises.
- Watersizing Similar to Channelsizing, but without the water current.
- Aqua HIIT Low‑impact, high‑intensity interval training that combines full‑body strength training with bursts of cardio. For all fitness levels.
All non‑aquatics classes offer online registration and walk‑ins when space is available.
Cycling
- 50+ Spin (previously called 50+ Indoor Cycle) An amazing workout intended to increase strength, endurance, and cardiovascular health. Don’t let the 50+ fool you—we work hard but take frequent recovery breaks.
- Lunchtime Spin Low‑impact exercise on a stationary bike. Great for all fitness levels. Choose light, moderate, or intense workouts for cardiovascular strength while working the core, upper, and lower body.
Zumba
- Zumba® A dance fitness workout open to all fitness levels. Burn calories, gain physical and mental health, endurance, and coordination—all while dancing to spicy international music.
- Zumba® Toning Puts extra emphasis on toning and sculpting to define muscles by using toning sticks or light weights.
- Zumba® Gold at LCRAC A modified form of Zumba® that recreates the original moves you love at a lower intensity. Easy‑to‑follow choreography focuses on balance, range of motion, and coordination.
Pilates
- Pilates Non‑impact exercises that strengthen muscles, improve flexibility, core stability, respiration, posture, and balance. Uses body weight, bands, Bosu balls, and free weights as resistance.
- Pilates+ A method of exercise that consists of low‑impact flexibility and muscular endurance movements. Emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength, and muscle balance.
Yoga
- Yoga (Mondays & Wednesdays) Promotes physical and mental wellbeing through specific postures, breathwork, and meditation techniques. Variations available for beginners through experienced students.
- Yoga (Tuesdays & Thursdays) Advanced poses for stretching and balance, strength building in arms, legs, core, and back. Individual help available; all levels welcome.
