‘Twas the days before Christmas, when many distractions beckoned,

Not an hour was wasted, not even a second.

The year was almost over and much still needed to be done,

But we had been so busy, that it was time to have fun.

2025 began with an Art Stop exhibit on display;

Also, five public art projects to start without delay.

For city staff, we continued the After Hours exhibit in part

To beautify City Hall walls, but mostly to show off their art.

In the month of March, we collaborated with the annual Chalk Walk;

Photo ops with wing backdrops and artists drawing on blocks.

Before summer, we had a by-number mural to paint;

Community showed up and helped without complaint.

October brought Public Art Month with lots of arty activities;

Including a scavenger hunt that tested your map reading abilities.

Throughout the year, we added many artworks to our collection;

You could say (and you’re not wrong) it’s become quite the obsession.

There is much more to do but for now, we will pause and reflect:

Thank you all who have contributed; you have my respect.

The New Year t’will see us at full speed with goals in site;

‘Til then, Happy Christmas to all and to all a good night!
