The Piro-Manso-Tiwa Indian Tribe (PMT) has a long history in the Borderland region, arriving in 1680 after the Spanish forced numerous Indigenous groups south after the Pueblo Revolt.

Come celebrate the opening of the Piro-Manso-Tiwa Indian Tribe Pueblo of San Juan de Guadalupe rotation of Land of the People, a collaborative multicultural exhibit created with and by six regional Indigenous communities. This opening-day reception features presentations centering on the Tribe's culture, creativity, and community.
Explore the 3. 5-billion-year odyssey of life with our local expert in paleontology and real fossil specimens. Visit our geologist in the gallery and discover something new in the fossil record each month. All ages are welcome and the event is free.
Participants must be 18 years of age and are required to check in at the front desk upon arrival. Participation is first come, first served.
