On August 7, 2025, Las Cruces Utilities held an Intern Signing Event in Council Chambers.
The standard City of Las Cruces logo background panels were set up as the backdrop for our event. The event was to start in 20 minutes. The next I thing I knew, one of the Communications Office team members was running in with different panels; panels with Our Las Cruces Utilities logo! The Communications Office team went swiftly to work to change out the backdrops. I was in awe of how caring the decision was and how well they all worked together to make this happen for us. They didn’t have to change anything, but they wanted to.
I don’t have a photo of the Communications Office team members, as they are typically behind the scenes making us all look good!
Our organization is blessed to have wonderful and caring professionals working in the Communications Office. A big thank you to Mandy, Adrian, Jennifer, Danny, Daniela and Nathaniel for the Cariño and going the extra mile that day!
